Born: December 26, 1926

Died: March 3, 2005

All six of his kids went to college. Here he is happy that his last child had graduated from Cornell.  He liked photography and took most of the pictures himself so there are few pictures of he himself. He has some very artistic photos of snow on farm machinery etc so has some photos of artistic merit outside of family shots.  Some day I will put together his collected works art show.

His great great great grandfather came to Ohio around 1812 when the State of Connecticut was considered to stretch to the Pacific Ocean.

His ancestors prior to that landed in Boston 1634 aboard the ship Elizabeth out  of Ipswich England -Samuel Smith and Elizabeth Smith ( the same name as the ship)

With Protestant values having trickled down from his ancestors he worked most of the time but always provided interesting kid friendly fun vacations to his family at which he took the photos.
