In Dante's Inferno Canto 27, the Roman Tribune Curio is referred to by Dante in:

"This outcast settled Caesar's doubts that day beside the Rubicon by telling him,

A Man Prepared is a Man hurt by Delay

While Darshan says:

"There is a stirring behind the veil, O Darshan:

The intense longing in my Gaze has been effective"

While Buddha says:

Biblehub is where I go for bible quotes:

When I am playing the Quotationist philosopher

Being prepared to me means having legs that will cross comfortably for long yoga sittings, having an empty stomach that is not disturbed by the prior day's food. Crossing the Rubicon is going over to the other side daily. That is to "die daily" (can be looked up on biblehub Corinthans 1: 15:31) It is cracking open the coconut (the ego) to taste the inner bliss ( as per Kabir Panth) and is true Jihad which is to kill your own ego and desires.

So that Rubicon is something to cross and recross daily.

In the Buddha quote if we assume we have at least started now it is a matter of finishing (entering total enlightenment) everyday.

Going all the way means going all the way to Sach Khand by the way.
