I am I am a long time period meditator My third eye always needs renovation It seems time keeps marching forward And all I can do to stop it is meditate The Simran repetition of the Names are like Rungs on the ladder to heaven You want to go higher than keep on climbing Longer and Longer To know and then not to practice is not to know, therefore Meditation teaching can only be taught on the same day that the meditation teacher has already meditated for six hours. Otherwise it would be hypocritical. Knowledge is not cumulative is assumed. The first three hours is the standard minimum and the second three hours is to remove the growth in ego from having meditated the first three hours. Today Simran has become the primary thinking all day long while thoughts of the world have become the sideline activity and not the other way around. Most of the time the body knows what to do anyways without the assistance of the monkey mind. It can break for things that rank as meaningful. About 95% of thoughts are spurious and not needed so they can be replaced with Simran. The other 5% can just occur on the side like a side dish. I didn't stop my life for a period of meditation instead I meditate all the time with periods of thoughts associated with a simple action. It can also be stopped for concentrated listening to the sound current as it grows louder. Most internet posts are so brief they do not interrupt Simran and the tendency is for photo posts like instagram. If something requires more attention it usually will say warning: Long Read
