The Smiths of the Fields

With familysearch.org it is easy to look at the geo locations of my ancestors. The Smiths were very colonial American as most of the ancestors arrived early from England.  And they lived in towns ending in field like Litchfield, Ridgefield, Fairfield, Wethersfield and Greenfield. 

They also from Firelands towns like: Norwalk, New London, New Haven.
