DS Poem:

Zen Monks tend to remain Zen Monks Non-materialism is not marginally better It is vastly superior by a factor of a trillion Mysticism Is not part of any ism The spiritual charging of a six hour meditation Is well beyond counting It could last six months duration. So six hours benefits 4,320 As you can see that is very many. This kind of stuff Can drive a mathematician crazy Because he assumes it is just fluff The dismal scientists Only count the money. Now if you take up six hours a day For six months? What will be the result? Stop thinking of going on A commercial meditation retreat This life is one long retreat So go to that one! And what is the result of six hours a day For six months? The statistical result is Enlightenment But how do you define “Enlightenment” “Enlightenment” is defined as the tendency to want to continue meditating six hours or more for the rest of your life” They start sitting for eight. Six are just to be great And two more for the people. The Zen Master sits at 3am to Nine then eats at eleven. By 7pm his purity is Re manifested. And he then gives an evening session.
