Poem:

It seems we are mostly trying to induce vitality (chi) We use meditation, exercise, superfoods, creative flow (Beethoven sonata) Not to mention reduction in food, Stretching and yoga. Hakuin promoted Zen Health. While the book “Natural Cures” is a grim reminder - that you need to cure the Big One - Death. Despite all your efforts your Karma remains mysterious. With dark clouds on the horizon it makes sense to push your practice to like six. To conquer inner space you must have aggression. Hakuin was in good health at seventy, he could sit in zazen all day, chant sutras from morning to night, and speak or write for hours”.
