Gaze lovingly at the Moon

Poem:
I guess I should “gaze lovingly at the moon”. This suggests that Saigyo was right. Real mystics don’t go to sleep at night. Some mystics even did it in the day. Mohammed even broke though it, what was he doing? This requires some explanation. Why has there not been an inquiry? You would not think the method ( like a Methodist) was so straightforward? To go to heaven you just have to stare at it. First you look at the biggest star, then you gaze at the moon - though with the addition feature being “lovingly”. Are we supposed to be in love with the Moon? That is my basic question. If God made the moon from out of the earth, why did he do it as an afterthought? Scientists never answer difficult questions, my feeling is that they are inherently lazy. No one says gaze lovingly at the Sun, but instead maybe you can find an Inner Sun that burns cool and has light that is not hot. Even in outer space they have planets that circle two suns. On those planets what are we supposed to do? I should be like a philosopher and just raise questions which I can never answer. Intellectuals will think that is cool. They could give me a diploma. If I had detailed answers my meditations might work a lot faster. If you analyze the Master’s words very carefully inner light will penetrate your head. You could do a simulation as though you were already dead. Being dead for awhile makes you much more alive. You could concentrate the energy in your forehead. Who would of thought that mysticism could be so useful? You could sit still in silence every hour on the hour like with a cuckoo clock. Children during quiet time could go all the way to the top of heaven. It could become a habit. You could meditate 24 times a day. Sleep is very bourgeoisie anyway. Poetry is more effective. I gave up on science and philosophy. I am old now anyways.
