Thankful Dickinson Smith - Emily Dickinson’s “Hadley Cousin”

Family History:

I figured there had to be a bit of interaction between the Smiths of Ancient Hadley, Massachusetts and the Dickinsons of Emily.  So I did some investigation. The Life of Emily Dickinson by Richard B Sewall has her mentioning her “Hadley Cousin” on page 433. I traced my relationship to this cousin: Thankful Dickinson Smith:
