Meditation is like recharging your phone. Poem: Meditation is like recharging your phone. It is good to close all your apps ( the mind) to save energy. Especially the GPS because you are not going anywhere. You can go into the extreme present and forget about the future on the earth plane. You can just go to heaven. Being in position and quiet while the whole world is silent is how you get there. You gaze straight ahead and say open sesame. You should be resolute and in good health. Sometimes I sit in the afternoon just because my mind has become scattered. I prefer that it remain collected. If you keep a constant restraint on your thoughts it is almost like being Muslim. The state of sitting still will certainly strengthen your Will. If you pass away into a deep state of fana (annihilation) what is going to happen? After mucho fanas you could reach fana fana where you pass away from passing away. Will you just return to being ordinary? Like a Zen Master? Can you still write poetry? It is hard to completely erase your existence that would be like eliminating weeds or something. It is my bad traits that give me character. Of people on the path I am definitely the worst. A Poem by David Smith March 17, 2019

“I am the worst and everyone else is better than me” Kabir
