The Trouble with the Mind Poem: The trouble with the mind is it has to be refreshed all the time. God left our Soul to flounder in matter now He expects to be remembered. We are expected to withdraw from our body to be with Him. You can strengthen your desire to go out instead of to remain here. Detachment is the main thing that is helpful. You can make the practice of devotion your daily routine. I believe in satsang every morning. Simran or Dhikr can rescue you from your brain which is just a drain. Simran has the power to melt the Mind’s armor and drill in your head a tunnel. It is like going to physical therapy but fixes just your spine by going completely out of time. Some things get better by just leaving them alone like your stomach. A Poem by David Smith May 26, 2019
