I put up for sale Poem: I put up for sale My will to not move when is the angel of death Going to give up in my case? I have not met his army. Maybe I should slip by without the war? Living with simple delusion and simple practice. I can increase the overall chances Of melting down glances By sitting in frequent stances By constant pressure I can burst open my own vessel. It is truly astonishing but the muscle model works when applied to my brain My poetry should start to glow As I set my mind on fire. It is all very natural if you are a mystic. Embrace the change and stick your head in it. An empty stomach is like equal opportunity The early morning like your birthday Going to Satsang a blessed community What else can I say? A Poem by David Smith NYC Draft of 2018 published Status unknown May 27, 2018
