Tratak Poem: Having a loosey goosey wishy washy directionless life is not advisable. Your time should be used more wisely. Evening meditation can correct some of the damage to your brain. Instead of being aimless you can have your will-power fixed. The purpose of your Life can remain transcendental if you let it. You can just erase many of your desires. You don’t have to fall into the usual ruts if you create your own positive ones. Being intellectual does not help you much. You need grace and determination not perpetual analysis. If you fix your gaze, lock your knees and engage in Simran you can probably clear the haze. The solution is not obvious until you do it. It is very puerile to devote your Life to material. General wisdom does not always carry you without dropping anchor. During Pax Americana it might make sense to meditate, you don’t know how long it will last. The Simran done deep down in the brain can cause nectar to rain. The presence of nectar helps ameliorate sense pleasure. The only real romance is between the Soul and the Supreme. You can make your own way instead of waste all of your day. An analysis of your Life might be best if taken up on the inner planes with the help of someone wise otherwise you may be just living a dream. It is best to just get out and ask questions later. This method might be greater. With proper Simran I can put into my heart God! With no food in the stomach you can light up. In the early morning you have lots of time that is not interrupted. You can concentrate on the Sublime. Your Mind can be trained to participate in the routine. To sit perfectly still you can touch upon the event horizon and get closer to God. You can do the tratak of the Sun, the Moon and the Stars and listen to the sound current ruminating across the universe. A Poem of David Smith august 1, 2019 #tratak #meditation
