Only Half the Man You used to Be Poem: Now I am “only half the Man You use to be” I shrank my use of the material world and withdrew into my self. I lost my prime touch with style and in long periods I left the world. The tendency to sit upright is the same as going up. Some may think me philosophical. My preference is the poetical. You can prefer the truth of another world. My primary reference point goes back to ancient history. Pride of practice interferes with more practice so I have to get more slim. I have to lose my bling and start to sing. Death is not a grime reality if you are not living like you are in hell. Not eating can offer you relief and is the most famous remedy. You can intonate a Guru in your center. You can sit on the floor like you are in India and with molecular machines still keep the bugs out. The Simran of SatNaam will add a lot to your Interior Castle. You can get your Doctorate in just Simran. The purpose of Life can be just to sit in the Quiet. You don’t need a Wife but if you already got one you have to keep her. You can leave the world of Reason and find Love. You can find a True Teacher or a SatGuru depending on your Education. With a lot of Yoga mats and a pillow you can survive until you are 95. Just a slight breeze is enough - a strong wind is too much. Eventually you will become Buddha if you act like him. The mass production of mystics is more interesting than just one prophet. You can write poetry which is just incidental. You can get another Doctorate in just the Light. You can also just listen to the Sound Current. You can secretly thrust at the cloud of unknowing without anyone knowing. If you go to sleep alone, then you can arise at God’s Will. It is ok to worship the Sun, God does not mind it, that’s why it does not blind you. You can even look at it within. John Main says don’t be struggling with your Lotus position during meditation, just get it down outside of meditation, then when it works you can use it in meditation. Either way the more you do the more you are better off.
