Russian Winter Poem: The crackling of the leaves does not have to symbolize death? In old age you may not have to be a quotationist as you may have already seen enough. Your new material can be contemplational as well as sensational. No place has a really good thing according to my foursquare. Saying the five charged names is somewhat like the declaration of allegiance. People who watch TV instead of meditate are in a dis-associative state by the time they get out it will be too late. In my split-screen reality show on one side I am alone, on the others my wife always calls out. In one I sit still like Buddha in number two I am nagged very often. In number one I can drift off in Simran in number two I have to get up very often. Those who do not pay attention and have not established a daily practice can just be sent to Siberia where they can learn to better appreciate Winter. In the dark night of the Soul is where you find the light. That is why I like the Russian Winter. I may take the train to Katuck and just forget myself. You can buy heated gear just for your rear. With technology you don’t need reflexology. You can Kindle a fire until you burn up the Woods, just to dwindle the wolves. You can buy one thing, cook one thing and eat one thing until you have learned to be simple. You can get your Doctorate in Contemplative Studies. To those that know it Thoreau’s journal is a masterpiece and is the real Walden. To solve the problem of many dead tree stumps you have to sit like one.
