Gentleman?

Memoir:

If I read about how Hemingway wrote about Scott Fitzgerald as wearing Brooks Brothers clothes and how he played tennis with Ezra Pound while getting a buff shine manicure does that make me a gentleman? I live in multiple dimensions: there is the pure mysticism where I leave my thoughts, there is my Spanish novia with a new language. I say my primary language is Spanish. At the same time my reading about Paris in the twenties. They said Americans had a great time there partly because after WW1 the franc greatly devalued against the dollar. So one should find a country with a very weak currency versus the dollar- does that mean I should go to Colombia. There is another dimension my flashbacks to New York past in the 80s and 90s. It sounds a bit like sentiment and nostalgia. We know the mind’s emotions are a big fat nothing compared to mysticism. What is important to me is the immediate present ( as in mi novia who gave me the buff shine for my birthday) and daily samadhi, not the hauntings from the past though it can be used for writing. While another dimension is “A history of the American People”
