Retired Military
Poem:
You can break through the ice and arrive at Spring early by just going inside you. The first thing you do is withdraw through your central nerve. You can replace resting with contemplating. You can make a daily practice of just going out of this world into death and then just come back with more sprite. You can end up more affable. You can build your own pyramid just using your knees and your third eye. You don’t need Nefertiti to be your Queen. You can give up tantra because it is hard to capture a hundred virgins. You can focus on Schubert songs instead of being distracted for long. Instead of logging a complaint you can establish a connecting point. The body should be turned into a withdrawal vehicle - it does not have much other use - to think so is characteristic of a fool. The taking of the position becomes natural to the contemplative philosopher. You can subdue the irrational. You can become a Buddhist just by sitting like one. Recollecting your sense currents prior to miniature death (sleep) is very agreeable. That’s why evening meditation is great. Near sunset is very appropriate. If your knees bend completely then you can sit quietly. Even if you are a hometown pietist you can visit the monastery as the guest abbot in the next pageant. You can still play tennis in a manner that is detached. You can either complete the tour circuit or just place a spot upon the wall and call it tratak. You can just sit in meditation until hell freezes over that way you will not have to suffer. You can form an order of retired military mystics because if you can’t get up -the war is lost.
