THE JUDGMENT POEM KEEPING STILL. Keeping his back still So that he no longer feels his body. He goes into his courtyard And does not see his people. No blame. THE IMAGE POEM Mountains standing close together: The image of KEEPING STILL. Thus the superior man Does not permit his thoughts To go beyond his situation. Conclusion Hexagram 52 shows that when we become still we are able to find peace in our minds. The constant practice of becoming silent within the conscious can allow inner healing to begin. Meditation takes diligent practice, and once mastered, can be used at any time to help clear the mind.
