Poem

I wake up at three or four to meditate and suffer no loss of energy in fact I have a gain. To treat sleep like a necessity is not necessary. Recharging by mantra or all night vigil is beneficial. Six hours sleep is all that is necessary to someone who is a missionary. It helps to be conservatory. To get six hours of sleep you should be in bed at eight. After you have meditated in the evening at seven. Going to heaven is just a procedure. A surgeon calls what he does a procedure but what he does is a waste. Actually practicing being dead will make you great. Poetry is not distracting but is in fact inspirational. I put words to a cause which is ecumenical. My words only increase in simplicity and my sentences just get shorter. Or I could just sit and mutter my mantra. While in Samadhi I become increasingly empty. My ego might swell while my knees begin to gel. The ego then has to be deflated and told nothing happened. But the taste of a sweet nectar remains ever after. The mystic path is an adventure that is greatly underrated. Rumi, Hafez, and Attar all left a Codex. There are Sants still operating as Gurus. They put annihilation into expression. Some of their words are symbolic so the meaning is not straightforward. Sawan Singh is a giant on the historic trail - he should show me the way! He gave Persian a lot of attention and merged Sihki with Sufi. It takes an outsider to concentrate on the collection. I should just go to my home which is way above Rome. If you interact too much with everyone you meet you could fall back asleep. DS Poem July 20, 2018 In anticipation of the birthday of Sawan Singh
