Poem:
The finer points are more interesting to a mystic. Ordinary facts don’t illumine much anymore. The refined nuances of the inner path are best expressed in rhythm and rhyme. You should be in an exalted state. Ordinary consciousness is not great. It is good to be in ecstasy. It is good for your health and flows better. It is good to use short sentences. You can even be a simpleton. I would not write at all if it got too complex and I had to wait in a hall. I would rather go back into meditation. And just pursue more elation. Those in school spend too much time on the train and in the station. To open the door you cross your legs and sit still for more. Yoga class should last forever and there shouldn’t be a door. Maybe it should cater to the poor. I strengthen my will If I sit very still. My words are best if from an out of the body state. Long hours of practice have additional benefits. The stillpoint is the focus. Each individual is the center of the universe. You can see others as you. There is no separation when you go out of body by abdication. Inner practice affects outer action. When insulted you have no reaction. Your guru’s words replace your cares and concerns. It is better to practice being systematically dead than have emotions in your head. A mystic poem communicates something more than a guidebook because it really happened. To a mystic things only happen when they practice being dead. It is only consciousness that makes things real. From the casual plane it is the physical plane that constitutes the “spooky action at a distance” not the reverse. When you are faraway from yourself you get worse. Life is more soothing with the sound current. If my guru did not approve of these words he could shut me down, otherwise I’ll go with it. My guru is a poet. My koan for the Zen Master is how can I meditate faster? DS Poem August 24, 2018 #spookyactionatadiatance #zen #meditation #zenkoan
