Poem:

I pray to Shiv Dayal, Baba Jaimal, Sawan and Kirpal and God as well, Is my favorite new line, And hope that my poem will be divine. Shiv Dayal is now 200 which makes him very old, they only recently finished his temple. I wish that he would help me in meditation. I actually went to his house. It is not very far from the Taj, you can get there in a taxi if you do not mind heavy traffic. Your physical trips can later in life just become symbolic. The literal and the symbolic can be used to create a Zen Koan. If I carefully look at a few of Masters words. He says: “Your abode is so exalted, that morning and evening the sun and moon offer salutations at your threshold.” If I like to view the sunrise and sunset as well as sit in meditation at sunrise and sunset: that raises the question in a Zen Koan: “how do I see both the outer and inner Sun and Moon at the same time? “ This would be good for Zen students to answer. I am anxious for an answer as I have missed many a sunrise and sunset because of sitting in meditation. I am Glad I’m not a Zen student as these questions are too hard to answer. I could sit prior to sunrise and prior to sunset and in the right place and direction sounds good and might be pleasant. Maybe it is time I go to the top of a mountain in the free and open air. A mosquito net could be like a meditation gadget. I could be camping. If you are extremely professional and a practitioner you can meditate three hours before sunrise and then read scriptures. This may seem very traditional. Sometimes its three hours before I’m settled that’s because I’m western. I reach the starting point when it is ending, this to me is very tragic. That’s why I say extend your meditation practice to six hours. In my meditation center you would have a cooling tank where you slow down your prana for like three hours, so you can begin meditation in the fourth hour. It may work when you retire because young people have aggressive desires. Though at college they could offer spiritual engineering which you take at 20 and 60. Those in the middle are too caught up in reproduction. Those at 60 and 20 get along better, those at 40 have bad intentions and are materialistic, they are also egoistic. Those playing baroque music are mostly 60 and 20 those in the middle have bad taste and don’t study history. Counting multiple incarnations you are actually ageless. Sants and Saints like Swami Shiv Dayal Singh Maharaj are universal and timeless! DS Poem
