Poem:

Thinking about your Life during Meditation is totally unnecessary. Your Life is Meditation if you are Professional. There is no need for analysis. The new world of dispassion with no distractions is like being monastic. Your Life was just a distraction inhibiting meditation you should view it with dispassion. You don’t meditate to make your Life better. You withdraw or undo your Life to make your Meditation better. It is better to experience death than be a success. Bliss is not cash you spend in your outer Life instead you reinvest. You always double your bet. I pray to God to solve my problems then ask that he do my meditation which leaves me doing nothing. All I do is rise at four like a British Soldier in India that went Indian and sit in a cross-legged position like Buddha with a cup of coffee while having an empty stomach. I was not born a Sikh but I have read the entire Granth including the Punjabi. Scripture provides the right understanding that makes practice stable. Modern people think meditation is secular and it is valuable like doing pushups. One’s relationship with meditation should be much more romantic. It is better to read Persian poetic sufi classics. The most sublime thing is to have a Urdu Poet resident right in your Third Eye. Every single day that Rumi wrote the Masnavi he was ecstatic he is the prime example. In the advanced stages spiritual bliss is instantaneous it is called inspiration. Inspiration then turns into regular practice which with time turns into mystical experience at a rate that is exponential. It then becomes unmeasurable.

Yes, very much so. In fact, āshūb (آشوب)—that state of inward agitation, divine restlessness, and love-induced disturbance—is one of the places where Rumi and Sant Darshan Singh Ji come surprisingly c

Yes. The English paraphrase on the page (“If you are not handsome then be Jacob”) captures the basic idea, but some of the richness of Rumi’s Persian is hidden. The crucial verse is: تو که یوسف نیستی
