Poem:
Genuflection Forget Persian and Sanskrit, what is the truth in Arabic? The head is not the location of the Soul. If you think so you must be slow. The question comes up can the advanced meditator switch off pain? The answer is yes, by rising above it to the usual location out of the body. The pain will go numb or go away while dominated by bliss. That solves the opioid crisis. But it is better to learn to meditate first while you are well, don’t wait until disease is already in place. I had a tooth ache but went ahead and meditated anyways. It repeatedly went away and actually felt like it was healing. This is true of most of the body. Healing of the body is a secondary benefit of meditation. A loud sound current is especially good. A dis-functioning body is just a little reminder. Who knows if the immune system outperforms when you are especially still? Let’s be clear: meditation is very wholesome, I have said this before. For a beginner concentrating at the Third Eye might seem like hell with a toothache or a similar headache which it usually is, but the fact of the matter is the Third Eye is not actually in the head so you can transcend it -that’s why it is important to be an advanced meditators with no if, buts or maybes. Maybe we should look at Farid says about it. If you have a past history of heavy meditation it is like you are loaded with ammunition. The greater holy war is where you kill yourself and merge into the Beloved. So I think deep meditation promotes healing, I can feel it. If the Chi and Prana is freely flowing though all the chakras and all the channels, then Global harmony corrects any local defect and it is just a sideline. Fools when they are sick skip satsang exactly when they need it. So if you can get out of bed you should continue to practice being dead. Don’t worry about pain located in your head. Inspiration can burn up pain. You can even turn to poetry. You can go out of your body and come back instead. The strange irony for the body it is better without your worrying. My new word for the day is genuflection. It means to bend your knees. It sounds very hip and cool. It is also something yogis and Muslims do. My tooth may hurt but my knees still work of which I am grateful. DS Poem November 3, 2018

Page 125 Come back quickly and answer her call; do not say: “tomorrow, I’ll make ready and strive to take a stand.“ be sharp and hard as time itself, for hater is the fate of “maybe,“ and beware of “perhaps,”a most dangerous disease. Stand straight, try to please her; push yourself hard, do not waiver and never give in to a sudden passing weakness. Though crippled, walk; arise, though broken. you are lazy lot, so do not defer your firm resolve in hopes of better health. Lead the way, charge ahead, for you prepared for this with those left behind; break the chains of distraction. slash with the sword of determination any talk of the future; if you are fast, you will find freedom, for the sacrificing soul strives on! poem of the sufi way Page 125-127 Umar Ibn al-Farid Lines 175-185 Ode in T Major
