Poem:

When I notice my breathe, I become a Buddhist. When I focus on Simran and gazing I follow Kabir and Nanak. When I naturally get help from my Kundalini, it is the result of chastity and practicing Yoga. It is easier to meditate when you stop eating. When I read poetry it is usually from somebody like Rumi. When I read scriptures I focus on that in which I know the least which is Islam. When Jawid Mojaddedi translates the Masnavi, he often cites the Quran as would a Sufi. In the same way, Darshan’s Urdu poetry is rooted in Persian, but dispels my illusions.
