Sant Darshan poem: World Poetry Day: “What I need most of you, God – how to put that in words? Your grace in its ultimate measure is what I want. I wish to be done with ego, so to be one with the God; To follow a love-mad guide is what I want. What could grant me the gift of life everlasting? A life-infusing glance is what I want. From all eternity I have stood at your door and begged– The alms I seek are more than what others want. Why resort to words to voice the plight of my heart? You already know exactly what it is I want. I’ve no idea what I should ask from you – Whatever is right for me is what I want. Oh Darshan, my sins are endless, so always overhead the grace of your sacred protection is what I want.” Sant Darshan Singh Poem 67, page 108 Love’s Last Madness Mata-e Nur poem 79
