When you are sitting in submission Poem: When you are sitting in submission it is not to Islam or some tradition it is to the Spirit. If you are determined enough you can create the conditions necessary to let the Soul get pulled out. You are not doing it but providing the setting for it in stillness and silence. You can promote the process by practice. You can actually manufacture bliss by paying attention to your Guru. “In other words ihsan - or Sufism - is an extra dimension, of depth or of height, added to islam and iman .... the beginning of ihsan is murawabah (vigilance), its end is mushahadah (direct contemplation)” The disciple does very little but sit still in a position and recite Simran. He might do Hatha Yoga to stabilize his asana. When you reach a high level in the Sheikh’s Tariqat you can just listen to sound. To just Not Eat is one way to go way Beyond Meat.
