As High Priest of Meditation Poem: As the high priest of meditation, I have no function other than to sit like a dead tree stump. I teach how to be like a dead log rather than eat like a hog. Your brain should be connected to your butt with a high speed cable. You should keep your channels open with regular practice. You can sit at attention and find the wormhole into the light. You can find out who is Mani. At some point you actually find celibacy very romantic because it is so healthy. If you sit regularly like Buddha it is sort of like being an Olympic champion as a result of frequent repetition. You can always do a partial all-night vigil. You can crack open your thick shell and let the sound current in as well. One has to wonder why some people leave this world so casually yet my leaving has to be an open battlefield. Maybe because I am the Worst I have to often rehearse. My poetry sets the stage and acts as the foundation. His memory is the location. It all begins when you are dead. It turns out the sitting posture is the destination. If you are lacking in virtue you can try and make up for it by having a very long practice. The long term effect of the bliss may give you a clean slate. You can escape from the past and the future by going into the present moment. It is sort of like buying a house and then already selling it. If your meditation breaks off you can get in the habit of re-sitting. Simran can be taken as general therapeutic treatment for the general state of Ignorance. You can replace your machinations with contemplation. The transcendental mind does not want to be left behind. Your physical body could just become like drift wood art. A Poem of David Smith July 14, 2019 #deadtreestump #mani
