I could meditate all day and still not get my way Poem: If you lubricate your Mind you can be sensitive to the passage of time. You don’t have to just see it go by. You can go to sleep and just try again tomorrow. You can start meditation as soon as you awake - it could be 3am. You could meditate and then go back to sleep only to awake again at 5am. Ethics and value are a derivative of meditation experience. That which is good for meditation is correct. Poetry is not written by the Mind, it is written by the Soul after it breaks through. A Mystic cannot be understood with analytic reason. A Mystic does not eat a fish because of religion. The media has made everyone a foodie. So it then had to make intermittent fasting. The Yogi wonders what is lasting. The mystic is sort like a magician- he performs a disappearing act where he is the subject. His Life is structured as a prop. He does Simran and Zikhr as his main ascesis. Poetry is better for capturing a state of consciousness. You technically are no longer alone once you have gone into union. You can connect to the harmony and thus become harmonious and friendly. On the strict fast path to the higher planes you do not even have one day setbacks. Pursuit of the Sublime is something you do almost all of the time. You can make grand statements about the past but live in the present. You can hypnotize your Mind to just unwind. This poem just blows where it whither. The appearance of the Guru is the cosmological constant and is right at the center. To just exist without devotion is like Sin. Just mushrooms and eggplants go beyond meat. Mystic Poetry is the only thing that is relevant. I could meditate all day and still not get my way. I can not even go to VeggieFest because of all my bad karma. A Poem by David Smith (Davshan Smingh) August 6, 2019 #mystic #poetry #beyondmeat #veggiefestchicago #badkarma
