Poem:

If you feel a lull in the afternoon it is time for meditation It may already be eight hours since Morning meditation and three hours after lunch So the Soul senses it needs more energy You are no longer over eating and no longer ignorant. It is good to lock into position and reawaken your condition. Frequent recharging is good for the complexion. If you look into the inner sky you may see the stars the moon and the sun. Going in could be somewhat similar to going out and could be natural. Otherwise if you don’t meditate then the mind takes over and pursues distractions or just becomes slothful. About the time you want a snack is when you actually want to meditate. The mind is like a monkey so to train it you can set the snack aside and eat it after meditation. My poems are about the mechanics of all the time practice. Learning to die is the wealth of the poor bird.
