It is very presumptuous

Poem:

It is very presumptuous to assume you have a lot of time left. It is much more sumptuous if you don’t and penetrate more deeply inside your brain right now. Finding time to meditate is just a matter of developing a more personable style. You can do it many times and stretch in between. You can make sure that every joint has been fully bent. After completing a complete bend then you can fully ascend. If you are less often in your car you can better lubricate your joints. You can look at a point just inside your head and see if it turns into light. It is kid stuff to just sit for an hour. A professional meditates for three or four and sits on the floor. Sitting that long eliminates your ego. Thus it is more relaxing. You can start every day as a mystic which will make the rest of your day more valuable and realistic. It is possible for a human to be immortal you just have to cross over. What I am saying is not even metaphorical it is straight forward. My poetry is useless unless you have given up all your excuses. Just breathing, sitting and saying Simran may seem suited to a simpleton but it is actually quite sophisticated and has significant elan. It can be used to regenerate your brain. In many ways it is better than champagne.

Emily Dickinson:

Death is the supple Suitor That wins at last— It is a stealthy Wooing Conducted first By pallid innuendoes And dim approach But brave at last with Bugles And a bisected Coach It bears away in triumph To Troth unknown And Kindred as responsive As Porcelain. Gratitude feedback loop

That line from Masnavi reflects one of Jalal al-Din Rumi’s deepest psychological and metaphysical principles: gratitude is not merely moral politeness — it is an energetic amplifier of human capacity.
