Thought is a silly thing

Poem:

Thought is a silly thing. It can always come later. Most thoughts are useless and irrelevant. Maybe they should just come during tea or coffee. The Mind is always planning something hypothetical. If you separate it out you can make the distinction. It is more useful on the playground. It is not helpful during concentration. 2019’s resolution is for more accurate meditation. And also to listen more often to the sound current. To keep the stomach for longer time periods empty, to drink more Sencha, to eat smaller and smaller portions  until each thing is only one bite. One spoon full of yogurt, only one of each nut, eat only half and share the rest, leave some for another. I can start by doing simplistic Simran until I build momentum, then I can cross my legs and stare, I could be everywhere. To the totally enlightened everything is convenient. If you are located by centralized power, you don’t have to gather it elsewhere. DS Poem January 4, 2018 #newyearresolutions #2019 #thought #meditation
